LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
Lovesick Lake is located on the traditional territory of the Michi Saagig Anishnaabe First Nations, associated with the Williams Treaty 20.
Long before today, there have been aboriginal peoples who have been the stewards of this place. Our presence on this land comes with a responsibility to foster respectful relationships and work respectfully with the land and a commitment to make the promise and the challenge of Truth and Reconciliation real in our communities. We thank all the generations of people who have cared for, and continue to care for, this land and we are grateful for the opportunity to be here.
